Areen is an M.Sc Student. She received her B.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of technology (2016). She joined the laboratory for lipids and soft matter under supervision of Dr.Davidovish in October 2016. Her research focuses on determining the relation between the gelation mechanism, oleogel formulation stability and mechanical properties to the gel digestibility, by using different oleogelatores at various concentrations.
